I Will Return

I will return,
And know this, my departure is not permanent.
When I have buried my regrets,
Quietened my desires,
And silenced my fears,
I shall return.

I shall return in the high noon sun,
Spoils of war. I will have conquered!
An army of courage and a vengeful spirit
I will return in silence and stealth
I will return to reclaim my father’s land,
My Freedom!
